Full-duplex data transmission. In addition to the four main lines, USB3.0 adds two additional sets of cables (each set has a pair of signal wires and ground wires, which are shielded by aluminum foil and do not disturb each other). One set is used to send data, and the other set is used to receive data.
Superfast transmission speeds, USB3.0 is also known as Super Speed USB, greatly increasing the bandwidth up to 5Gbps full duplex (625MB/S), but the actual transmission rates are around 3.2Gbps (400MB/S) and USB2.0 is 480Mbps half duplex (60MB/S).
USB3.0 can transfer a large number of files (such as HD movies) at a memory rate defined by a storage device. For example, a USB3.0 flash memory can transfer 1GB of data to a host in 15 seconds. Support USB 3.0(5Gbps), compatible with USB 2.0(480Mbps) and USB 1.1(12Mbps) specifications.
